Attendees at the 2010 Virginia Tech Women in Leadership and Philanthropy Conference used their free time to complete 50 blankets to donate to NRV Project Linus. Hokie women and friends gather annually for this conference, which this year was held at The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center. The Project Linus activity was the conference’s first-ever service project.

New River Valley Project Linus Blanket totals (revised 7/10): For the period April-June 2010: 539 blankets were donated and 573 blankets were distributed to needy children. Total blankets donated since June 2000: 17,090
